
Samir is a licensed attorney in Brazil graduated from the Faculdade de Direito de São Bernardo do Campo and is currently pursuing his Juris Doctorate at the Nova Southeastern University – Shepard Broad College of Law. When in Brazil, he led the collections and executions department of a boutique law firm, and performed extensive work with corporate law. He is now the Vice President for the Foreign Lawyers Association at NSU, which allows him to share his experiences abroad with other international professionals and gives him a close contact with the international community in Florida.
Samir primarily assists the firm’s immigration department with investment and employment-based petitions for clients from Latin America. He also works with contracts and pre-suit negotiations, and his fluency in English, Spanish, and Portuguese allows him to assist clients from several different countries. His professional background in Brazil in corporate law, civil litigation, and real estate allows him to work with diverse matters and provide the clients with the best legal solution.
He is a volunteer for organizations that provide assistance to immigrants, such as the Florida Immigration Coalition (FLIC) and the Americans for Immigrant Justice (AIJ). His enthusiasm to help people and the constant seek for justice is a great representation of our work philosophy.
